It’s that time of year again, rushing to book patients before the holidays, dealing with tighter OR schedules over the holidays, and let’s not forget – Christmas shopping!
To add to the chaos, the MOHLTC has an earlier cut-off date for claims submission every December. This year’s official date for the last MCEDT submissions to get paid on the January RA is:
December 11, 2015
As usual, we’ll have a few extra days to get claims and error reports in, but given that we don’t know exactly when the MOH’s internal deadline will drop, we can’t guarantee payment for claims after that date. The moral of the story is send your claims in early, and don’t count on payment for claims in after December 11.
