As we’ve mentioned in earlier blog posts, the Ministry of Health states that the cut-off to submit claims for payment is always the 18th of the month. This gives them time to review claims and send errors back to physicians. However, with the December holiday season, the MOH has requested a much early cut-off date for submissions. Specifically, they want all claims submitted by December 12th, 2014!
To accommodate their schedule, we are requesting all physicians send their work to us early this cycle. Obviously, for doctors who submit weekly this expedited timeline is not a problem. But for those who like to save their work and submit in one batch, please have your work to JCL Medical by December 5th.
The Ministry’s internal month-end cut-off is always much later than the posted date, and December will be no exception. Still, to be safe and to accommodate our office schedule over the holidays, our last date for December submissions will be Dec 19th. Please keep that in mind when submitting your work.
